Not an ECM but an EMM, ATmegas using na18 with a good tier maker still working here , all cards that i done using Argo,N016 etc started getting the nag.you can either update you software with the EMM updater or use NAwapo18 with a good tier maker.
Thereis an ECM out, you would have a black screen,or stuck at one channel,id000000001 as sugested before.
OHM:cool:

In the process of curing "micro-freezing" on Dish, with RTM11.9 using Naw1.8...I found that the same file would work on Bev to stop the Nag.
However, the tiers on Dish are different, so not all the Bev channels were available. Perhaps if anyone has the time to test lots of possibilities on the Dish tiers, Bev might be made functional. (if so, please post your list of check-off channels!)
So, in-other-words, what we really need is a Bev-specific RTM program that has Naw 1.8 embeded in it. The latest Bev(3) RTM program only supports Naw 1.6.

Is there any way to program tiers "manually", without using RTM? Or is there a way to change/configure the tiers in RTM w/o waiting for a new version of RTM?
For example, there are some locals packages/channels on DISH that don't appear in RTM11.9. How can I activate them? Is there a way to edit the .pfg file that RTM produces to add channels/tiers?
Could I use the "Advanced Settings (Min Tier/Max Tier)" boxes in jeepers? If so, where do I get a list of which channels correspond to which tiers? Are the "Advanced Settings (Min Tier/Max Tier)" boxes in jeepers only for AVR, or does it work with Atmega128s too?
Thanks.
BTW, I decided to just unlock the EEPROM to see if that makes the BeV nag go away. Worst case, it hoses my EEPROM and I have to restore from backup.
I wish I had the answers; perhaps it's possible to open the tier list in another program, and edit them according to what previously was available.
I THINK "advanced settings" works for both AVR and Atmegas, but am not sure.
The Nag I'm told is not a true ECM, and doesn't do any corruption as is done commonly on Charlie's Dish ECMs. I believe Bev only did this once, then "repaired" the TSOP with subsequent programming. I'm surprised you had EEPROM problems lately...
Good luck!

I hadn't heard that (about the last public release). Perhaps the "blocker" stuff is what is going to be private...but that doesn't affect Atmegas, as far as my understanding goes. Well, we'll see; if you get something before I do, please post it. :)
