Drd 420rg

Okay, This is a test......

I have posted several times on the drd430/431 and have only been able to complete one out of four.

After all the solder connection were checked about 48 times with a ohm's meter. I decided this was not the problem and must be related to jtags I have. (one home made and one bought) all with 100 ohm, 5 qty. and one ground.

But today a friend brought over two DRD420's and I told him of the issues I have had.

But he insisted I continue. So. I did and both of them work great! This is with the jtags I thought did not work.


So, why would the drd430/431 read 0xfffffffff. This is without solder issues or jtag issues and followed mili's page to the tee.

Two of them I managed to erase the eprom. So, one will work and the other two just a flash on the TV and then nothing.

just the one which still has the orginal eprom. The other two don't have a epror at all.
