1. Re-point your dish to locate the Dishnet satellite (ie:110,119, 61.5 etc.) You don't need a card in the IRD
2. Disconnect the AC power cable, then the satellite feed.
3. Connect your jtag tool and the AC power cable.
4. Start jkeys 2.9.9
5. Back up the virgin BEV TSOP (just-in-case)
6. Click Flash Programming.
7. Select IC22 in the top left corner.
8. Select SA3 in the top right corner.
9. Click Erase 3 - 4 times.
10. Reconnect the satellite feed and the AC power cable.
11. Wait 15 - 20 minutes while the firmware download takes place. Don't touch the receiver.

You should have a complete DishNet firmware download and the IRD can now function as a DishNet 301.

You should not have your card in the receiver at all during these steps.

You cannot run your BEV CAM unless you change it to a DISH Cam by copying a virgin Dish image onto your card, entering a valid Dish CAM ID and the usual box keys receiver ID etc. The Box keys of the receiever do not change when you convert from BEV to Dish.

If your bev cam# does not work then make up a
DN cam number. Start with 001 then add
7 more numbers.

001XXXXXXX

Convert it to hex using windoze caculator.
If you come up with less than 4 bytes (8 numbers
and letters) then add zeros to the beginning
to pad it out to 4 bytes.

My made up cam num:

0016523748

Win caculator gives this hex:

FC21E4

Just add zeros

00FC21E4

I just made this up for a demo. Just out of curiosity
I tried it out and it works. I don't recommend using
it though being public and all.

That's correct! Yes, the LNB are compatible. Some have a 'dual' LNB to be able to get more than one satellite at the same time Dish 110 & 119 or BEV 91 & 82.
