You sure it's an ISO and not a HU loader? I've never seen dip switches on any ISO...??

These 'older' loaders were designed for HU. The manufacturers claimed that it would handle Dave & Charlie. But the results for Charlie were always negative. I even called my dealer to inquire and he said the confirmed "Never worked, even if it has a 3.68MHz xtal"

I was wondering if your statement about OLDER LOADERS included this one as well?
GForce Extreme Dual
SCD design- not sure what that means ???
fully flashable
inline flashing of atmel
universal ISO- 7816-1/2/3
pc/ sc compatable ( what does SC stand for?
Atmel 0246 AT9052313-105c
Do you knew if this is or could be an ISO loader or is it an old HU loader
I thought an ISO ( dumb) loader did not have an atmel chip in it . Is the atmel not what makes it a (smart) loader??
The whole blurb on this loader is on a dealer site ; I guess you could PM or e-mail me with your thoughts on this but not exactly sure how that works.I dont want to get flamed or banned for saying or doing some thing not quit rite. your help would be appreciated !! thank-you

ISO loaders are not flashable, and don't use an amtel chip.
The problem was with the dip switches, I had them wrong.....the proper settings are 1,2,3,4 up(off) and 5,6 down(on). It works like a charm. I unlocked 3-ROM's 3 at rev. 371, 380, 381 in a few seconds and they are unmarked.
I have an ISO just like that, as far as the switches anyway. 1234 off, 5 and 6 on. Works just fine for DISH. Mine is called an ISO Wave PS2 Plus. It accepts an external power supply (that's how I use it) and it has a standard 9 pin serial cable attached. After taking it apart and looking at the circuitry, I see it has 2 crystals, a 3.57 and a 3.68. The curcuit clearly shows that the 5 and 6 switches put the 3.68 into the curcuit, and the 1 and 2 would put the 3.57 inbto the curcuit.
