got a dish 500 dish with a 2700 receiver, the dual lnb's have one output wire each, one for the 110 sat, and one for the 119 sat. how can i go about using two receivers with this setup? will i need the dual lnb's with dual outputs on each?

Is the lnb a 1 piece or two piece unit?
If 1 piece, The switch is built in already and the 110-119 marks just show with "Eye" is for which sat, Not the outputs, Both outputs are the same so one for each receiver( 2 room then). If it is a 2 pice lnb the it uses a external sw21 multiswitch to combine them for 1 room.
Hope that helps :)
If they only have one output, then they aren't dual LNBs. I think maybe you just are using the words "dual lnb's" there to mean "2 lnb's"?
You don't need Dual LNB's with 2 outputs on each, just use a SW44 switch. It has 4 inputs, you'll only use 2, and 4 outputs, again you'll only use 2, but later you could add 2 more receivers (and 2 more sat inputs if you add another dish pointing at something else, like BEV).
Look at the wiring diagrams at 18inch dot com, or better yet, look in a dishnet receiver manual, as they have a lot of wiring diagrams there also. I haven't actually looked at a 2700 manual, but the 301 manual has a lot of good info on wiring. They can be downloaded off of the dishnetwork web site as PDF files.
Good Luck!
