hi...i have a 301.13 im getting ready to do a vid mod with....it has the single tsop...i was curious if i i could get my box keys using jkeys,but could not...it pulled up everything but box keys,rec id,and boot strap ver...question is will i have to do the vid mod before jkeys will pull up my box keys and ird #,or should it pop up without doing the vid mod?

It should show without the Vid Mod. The only thing the Vid Mod does is allows you to do is write to the TSOP to change the bytes to 0000 so that it will allow the blue Roms to be used.

So, I'm doing a vid mod for no real reason? (I have no Dishnet card at all and have a MC coming from he boss).

I read the no blocker needed in the other post you replied to. Is an eprom lock needed on the 301.013?

Use a buffered one, cheap insurance to keep from frying something.

Make sure you are using the jkeys version that has the def files for the single tsop 301.13 and it should show your box keys. If not you have a problem with your jkey connection.
