On the lower right side in VERY small writing are a group of #s. There isa sticky at the top of page to tell what is what.

Thanks,

I got it, but in the back bottom and right conner it said AA-03, which it ROM10, But when I inserted the card into the 3900, its shows the DNASP011-Rev B82. It is possible? would tell me is card OK, Lock ? or Loop? What need to be done to the card before I can use.

Thanks

Yes, that is exactly what it tells you it is.
It is a ROM11 at Rev B82, and if it's not currently locked than you can use it. If it gets locked, you can unlock it at that Rev.
Just don't put it in a receiver that is hooked up to a dish until your are sure it is open and has a blocker on it, or else it will get stream locked to B89, and right now the B89 rev can't be unlocked.

The actual best way to tell what a card is is by the ATR, but going into conversion of the ATR to card type is another subject for another thread.

Put it in an ISO, load up NagraEdit 4.1, try an ATR Reset first.
If no problems with that, you can try a one step backup to see if the card is unlocked or not.
If it completes, don't lose that file!

Freg,

Thanks for the infor. Would you help me clearify, based the infor from the displayed, The card itself is ROM10(AA-203), but some how its got stream updated to ROM11 at Rev. B82? I have read and saw the blocker for ROM3 and ROM10 are available, but not ROM11. Is the Blocker for ROM11 available at Rev. B82?

Thanks

First, a ROM10 doesn't get updated to ROM11, the code on the card with that identification in some cases can be either a ROM10 or a ROM11.

It's the revision that gets updated, and if you put that Rev B82 card in the stream without a blcoker it would get updated to Rev B89 for certain.
A Blocker will 'spoof' the revision to B89 and it will look to the code that tries to update them as if it is already at B89, so it won't get updated.

In the following blocker, make SURE you open the .ep10 file in a text editor like Notepad and change the password. The default password is:
DEADBEEFBAADFOOD
It is at location C600. If you don't change it then your card could definitely get locked or looped. You can also edit this in NagraEdit when you load it as a patch before testing the patch, or applying the patch. And DON"T forget your password, or you'll lock yourself out of your card. Also the password HAS to be 8 Hex bytes (16 chars) like shown above. If you need to, change it to something you can remember, and test the patch in NagraEdit after changing the password to make certain you have put something in that is valid.

You are still going to have to determine if that card is open though by trying to do a one-step backup or read of it. Again, if either is successful, save a copy immediately and don't lose it!
Also, please read some how-tos on programming before going in blind and trying to program a card.
Here is the Blocker for ROM11 generated today:
