I have a new superdish setup running my sub with the new receivers
I also have a 3800 ird at a second location that is using a dish 500 dish
when I try to connect the 3800 to the superdish it will only see one bird
119... it sees the second bird 110 but says it's the wrong satilite and won't lock in..
when I run the switch test it still will only see the 119 bird..
when I go to the guide it also saying that its loosing the feed on any transponder
below 11 and the even numbers above 11..
is there something I can do the cure this problem..
Thanks

I'm not sure I understand what your telling me..so will my 3800 ird work with a superdish or not.. I know I'm not going to get the 105 bird without a second dish
but I figured the superdish should work for the 110 and 119 bird..

Super dish is dishpro. 3800 is not Dish pro. You need a Dishpro adaptor between the 3800 and the Superdish. You can buy it in ebay.

May I jump in here and ask a question about superdish? Thanks
I just installed a 119-110-105 superdish with a DP34 switch, I was able to get sats 119-110 but not 105. I was connecting to a 311 receiver. Will that receiver get sat 105? I ran check switch each time i connected a cable to one of the LNBs, 119 and 110 received great signal strength, 125 for 119 and 116 for 110, but the 105 shows up and N/C (not connected ?) Any help, please.

311 is compatible, Sound like 105 lnb is not getting signal and may need some adjusting.
Connect 105 to slot 1 on the dp34 and disconnect the other slots 110,119 for setup of 105, Get the lnb adjusted for signal.

Birdie is right. Put the 105 on the first input. Make sure you have it tuned in. Expect signal strength around 70-80. The skew angle muts be correct or you'll never get all three of them.
My 105 is hooked up exactly the way birdie described it and works great. Keep in mind that with a 311 cardless IRD you'll only get the local channels off the 105 you paid to get. Channel 7000 is the test screen channel for the 105 SuperDish.

I am not sure of anything any more, but I ordered the 105 and the setup book says it is a 105, that is all I can go by, it says the 105 is the LNB in line with the arm. It this a 105 or 121? What I am wondering now is if I should connect the receiver back to dish 500 and do a switch check and start over on the suuperdish and see if I can get 105 to come first, before 119. I started with 119 the first time. The check switch read out changes when I connect 119 , 110 or 105 into line input #1, it reads that input first, the #2 and then #3. The book says to start with the outermost LNB, there are two, one on each side, the 119 and the 105 so which one should I start with? I think I need patience, anyone got any they cound send this way?

The FSS LNB on either flavor of the superdish will be in line with the arm. If you are standing behind the LNB facing the dish, from your left to right will be the 105lnb in line with the arm, then the 110, and the 119 by itself on the right. The 121 superdish is just the opposite, again, facing the dish, to the left by itself would be the 110, then the 119, then the 121 in line with the arm.
Like Racer6499 said, The give-away is the single eye to the side if you're facing the dish: single on the right it's a 105Superdish, single on the left it's a 121.
If you're seeing strong signals on both 119&110 through the DP34 switch, then you're really close....Since you've already peaked 119 you only need a slight adjustment. Disconnect all the lnbs from the DP34 switch, then connect only the 105 lnb to input#1. That's the one in line with the arm, and the one with the eye that's shaped differently. On your receiver's point dish menu, pick sat 105 and make sure the transponder is set on 7. (OR 2, 18, or 23). Then all you need to do is move the dish just a tiny bit. You'll be off (if any at all) by less than a degree in any direction.
Avoid adjusting the skew, just the elevation or a little left or right. Be sure to wait 3 or 4 seconds at a time while you're trying to peak that 105 it takes a little longer to register. With just a little patience, you should see that signal in minutes. Once you do, hook the 119 (the single eye) back to input#1, the 105 you just had there to input#3, and the 110 in the middle. Do your check switch (be sure to check next to 3 SAT for your new superdish) and they'll all be there.
If after that, you're still having trouble or not seeing both the even and odd transponders after the checkswitch....check the coax cables. I had a problem running my superdish to my second receiver until I swapped RG6 cable replacing that old RG59 with the twist-on connectors.
