tsops on 301.010 wth lock were corrupt. downloaded new dish tsops. unlocked receiver and tried to program receiver. jkeys error message is flash codes not recognized. ok, we'll let wall pop this one. wall erases u23 (only takes about 1 second tho, makes me wonder if flash is being erased). change box keys and reciever I.D. then program u23, bars scroll across the bottom the whole works, reset up and ...... nothing back to original receiver I.D. tried to program at 6000, same result. any ideas?

I have spent the better part of the day trying to get a 301.010 to come back to life. Tried erasing SA3 to update Dish receiver the mistake I made was erasing it in both tsops (bone head). I have read and read and tried all suggestions. I have also had the one second tsop erase in wall. Everything that I have read says that it will take a couple of minutes to erase but don't really know. I get all the same errors as the poster above. I have written the tsops with wall several times but I am sure it is not actually writing. I am hoping someone can tell me how to do a tsop erase with something other than jkeys, any help would be appreciated.

I realize there are several threads trying to help people out with this problem but nothing has helped me so far.

Hotslot if I can get something to work you will be the first to know.

Thanks!

A solution for my 301.010 problem from the above post:

I don't know if my quad mode jtag is screwed or what but I put the jtag cable into the 2700 slot and connected the jtag pogo pins right to left with the upside down IRD front facing me this is completely opposite from the guides that I have read. I got into the programming option in jkeys and wella, I can erase and program both flashes. I unplug IRD and plug it back in and I have life.

If this isn't an isolated problem with the Quad Mode Jtag maybe It can help other people. Good Luck!!

I wonder what the lpt port config is for wall. I am using a laptop configured for 3x0bc and I know that I have to change this setting in j keys. There is no port config for wall and I wonder if this is the problem. Just a thought.
