I am posting this in the BS forum until I see a working board.
As I will not believe it until I have a working board.
I have been told that there will be a board on the market next week sometime
that will have code in the 2313 that will allow the HU to be used agian.
Supposedly they got this thing up and running last week and are now in the
process of building a ton of boards to sell all at once, as they anticipate
the code to go public not long after the boards are released to the public.
I have been told I will have a board by next week or the week after at the latest.
But if this turns out to be true I think there will be a lot of people with these boards in the next week or two.
Again, just another rumor until we see it working, only time will tell

Why is it when people hear these rumors they say in one week or 2 at the most it will be out.?? WHY NOT NOW?
Because this is another story like the P4 hack that also comes out next week or the week after that.
Its all bull shit!!:moon:
How many times do we all hear this same old bull shit ! "My friend has a P4 hack . My cousin Joe who works with Dave told me he will send me a bin file for the P3 that will work on DSS.
Come on guys!!!!

This was posted by WATON in the P4 Hack section of this site!!! So do not get SCAMMED!!
"I was the “Wotan” that started that thread at “that site”… We investigated the possibility of “reversing” the Cmd7F function to see if we could find a mathematical function between the P3 and P4’s ASICs, or more specifically, between the P3’s Cmd82 and the P4’s Cmd7F. Put simply, it wasn’t going to work for the following reasons.
* Without a Cmd82, there wasn’t a Cmd7F to go with it.
* The P4’s “PRBS” (the ASIC) is “pre-seeded” with a different binary value than the one that the P3 has been “pre-seeded” with. The output will be totally different! We investigated the possibility of “pre-seeding” the P3’s ASIC with the P4’s pre-seed value, but if you had that, you could replicate the P4’s ASIC, and then you wouldn’t need either card; you would just design your own card or software! There are rumours that the P2’s ASIC was compromised by an advanced “tester”, but he would not release his findings because 1) he was a dealer, and 2) he didn’t want to be receiver of Dave’s wrath.
* The Ins40/Cm90 hash algorithm, that builds the VA seed before the Ins54, is different in the P4 than in the P3. Much of this code is in the P3’s ROM (you can’t change it).
I was given info “on the QT” that there was a “P3 ASIC” hack, but as I found out, it was bullsh**t disinformation put out by a dealer that used to frequent “that site”… Ever since No1b4me and other high-up testers have shown-up, mister “bullsh**t” has vanished…
If you read this doc, you’ll find that Dave is using two ASICs (one NDS, other is Dave’s) to generate control words (CWs). The P3 doesn’t have this capability.

Bottom line: Frame your P3 as a reminder of a good time in testing, because it will never be used for anything else but the music channels. Period! End of discussion!
