Eeprom backup

I finally got a read off my 2800. My original download of Jkeys must have been bad. A new download worked right away.

1) Read receiver and then "SAV MEM"
2) I then did a Backup of the eeprom.

These are both .bin files. Can they be viewed anywhere? I assume these are the files needed to restore the receiver after an ecm, am I correct.

I would save them and not try opening them, 1 charactor changed and they are junk. If you want to look at them a little open the tsop file in flashedit2 and you can see ird, boxkeys and such from the backup.

When you use Jkeys and SAVE MEM that is backing up the TSOP correct?

If that is correct, and I saved the eeprom after a read, there are no other receiver files that need to be saved. I just want to be sure before I try to activate the equipement tonight.
