just bought the digital lock 3 from mili. went to dishlock.com for schematic, but the schematic is a little bit different. can someone please clarify the following attachments before i install the lock:
WE #1 = just above and left of SB16
WE#0 = attached to left side of where R259 would be, trace cut
DQ1 = just above SB22
DQ4 = SB 42
DQ7 = SB 44
GRD = left side of C196
5V = ???????????
3.3V = ???????????
the schematic shows VCC being hooked up to the right side of C196, but doesn't say if it's the 3.3V or 5V connection that goes there. any help would be greatly appreciated.

If reciever is a 3100 then Vcc=3.3
If reciever is older model such as 2700 even 3000 etc... then vcc=5v

thanks, you guys are the best! just want to say thanks for all your help and thanks to Mili for all his help and great service!
Are you sure you are using the right instrunctions? Try these. I think I know why you were having troubles now. VCC to 3.3V for 3900. For VCC 3.3V use the pad directly adjacent and behind the 5V pad pictured in mili's how to. Both 5V and 3.3V pads are in the same small white rectangle painted on the main board.

so before i install the digital lock 3, just want to make sure of this wiring for my 2700 receiver WITHOUT R259:
WE #1 = just above and left of SB16
WE#0 = attached to left side of where R259 would be, trace cut
DQ1 = just above SB22
DQ4 = SB 42
DQ7 = SB 44
GRD = left side of C196
5V = right side of C196
3.3V = not used

If you do have a problem with the error 151,then switch the VCC to 3.3 volts as have noticed that alot of the new locks are fucked up and require 3.3 instead of 5 on a 27**.
Good Luck.

Yes to your question...try the 3.3V instead.
