got jtag from mili cant read anything with jkeys on 301.13 . i'm 100% sure i got all the pins connected correctly clip to ground screw nothing but no device detected oxffffffffff do you need a vid mod to read box keys or to detect the reciever?

I have they same exact problem. I have tried a buffered jtag, I made a simple jtag with same results. I tested both jtags on a rca420 and I can read and write to these ORD's with no problem. I have even tried soldering to the pads with same results. I have not done the vidmod yet I wanted to backup the IRD first. I also need to mount the dish so I'll will be able to update after the vidmod. If I connect to the TV I can go through menu's so I haven't muffed up the IRD YET!!!
Any help is appreciated. I have tried grounding pad 1, using the BFR with same results.
