Need help. I"am ex dtv guy getting tired of reruns of MASH.I found a guy who will sell me BEV.Stupid me should have asked more questions but he says he will sell me a 4500 receiver with a open rom10 card. He wants 300.00cdn.Should I buy or walk.Also anything else i should know before I buy. Thanking in advance.

do not pay more than 150.00 they are pretty expensive right now but that is the most you should pay....

Look any thing but 4500 . 3900 good. get rom 10 ,JCK7

Ouch! $300 for a 4500. That's at least twice what it's worth in my opinion. There are limited testing options with that model even if the rom is open. I hate eBay, but you can pick up a much better deal there if you have no where else to go.
