OK Guys & Gals, Never posted here before but heres my newest emailed p4 claim to be a programmer?? I've been watchin dave since the days of the h card and like the old motto of the card hackers goes read, read, read and read some more, thats what I mostly do. Anyway just thought I'd pass this along so you pro's can see this new claim to fame?

CAUTION THIS WAS EMAILED TO ME AND HAS ONLY BEEN POSTED FOR THE FYI VALUE OF THE TYPICAL EMAILED "P4 HOAX/SCAM", I DO NOT KNOW THE LEGITAMIACY OF THIS AND MAKE NO CLAIMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

EMAILED RECEIVED 5/12/04

"Dear Members.

Toll Free Number Below.

We are mailing you tonight to alert you of our newly developed,
QUADRA-GLITCH loaders. These are the ones you have heard about that have been
sold elsewhere to dealers and high bidders for thousands of dollars. We at
sat3mx obtained blueprints to the design of this revolutionary loader and we
managed to replicate and produce them by hand on our own at a fraction of the
cost.

The difference between these loaders and other loaders that you can buy on the
open market is that the QUADRA-GLITCH loader has multi level cross glitch
technology that is hardware based, not flash ware based, so the flash on the
atmel does not change the glitch procedure in any way, yet the permanent
hardware structure within the PCB will allow modification to a period 4 (p4)
card and we have already prepared a winexplorer file that you can use right away
when you buy this loader from us. The winex file will run on your current
computer setup and you will not have to invest any money into any new hardware
or software to enjoy testing on the p4 card.

Once you receive the unit, you can test all you want and you will receive
periodic software updates from us in your email box. These privateware updates
come in the form of an executable xvb script and we will be glad to support you
technically if needed. You must realize that we only have 87 Units Left of
these to
sell with the bundled winex app to use for testing on the p4 card, so please be
aware that due to the sensitivity of this product we can not discuss the
technical workings of the unit’s design, nor can we promise that the script will
open channels on all cards, we can guarantee that up to date 7 out of 10
attempts to modify the p4 will be successful, remember this is testing so work
hard at is as we have done and you too can share the glory that we have been
basking in for the past few weeks while testing on p4’s .

We are selling the 87 units tonight and tonight and we have opened up a toll
free line to tell you how to order the units
live. We are answering the phones up until 4am Western Time and we will help you
over the phone to order right away with your credit card right over the phone.
First Call First Served, once we have sold all the 87 units, we will not take
any more orders and we will turn on an answering machine to tell callers that we
are unavailable. If you get this message, you will know that we are sold out. It
should not take long to sell all 87 units at the amazingly low price of $329.00
and that includes a CD-ROM with the p4 testing script for you to start playing
with your p4’s right out of the box. Shipping takes 4 days maximum.

We urge all members reading this to take action right away and call us toll free

that e-mail has been circulated over the community for a few weeks now. To me, it's total BS. Having said that, if you have some $350 to spare and feel like playing with a new toy, by all means - just let us all know how it went.

I get that same email 3 times a day.
4 barrel quadrajet , cross port tuned, intake performer, ram air, tuned exhaust port P4 loader........sounds more like a carbeurator for a hot rod to me.

If there was a P4 hack and someone is sitting on it then they have already missed the boat to some degree by not releasing it. I've made the jump to dish as well as other people I know. I hate the dish receivers as they are slow and cumbersome like the old 102's but I have no other options so I bit the bullet and bought what I needed. I would not go back to direct tv now until there was a viable stable platform to test the P4 , which could be months away at best , or never. I only hope dish doesn't step up their ECM's.

The more I hear, the more I become disenchanted with Dave. Dish appears to be the only way to go, and I'm convincing others in my little group to switch. Those already set up enjoy much higher quality than I ever found on Dave's service. Go **** yourself Dave. (I'm fairly sure you are twisted enough to do it) :flipa:

is the silver bullet any good?

If you're talking about the beer, only after you drank a case of the good stuff would I consume that crap.

If you're talking about the box for FTA.

Its already been ruined, they say fixes are coming, but I smell crap in the fan, and its blowing my way from their direction

I briefly looked into the blackbird and silver bullet, but decided against it when I learned there was no way to update the receiver except by buying a newer receiver and connecting it to the old receiver, or finding someone else with a newer receiver. There is also no autoroll feature and I've read the guide is painfully slow. For dish I've found the rev-card to be a good platform with the online updates and it's a much cheaper format to get started on, as well as it can be unlooped without sending the card somewhere to be unlooped. From what I've learned with dish so far you have to be a little more careful because if you loop the real plastic it may have to be sent away to be unlooped. I've never dealt with mili but from what I've gathered he's pretty reputable so checking out his dish private software might be the way to go if you want to play with the real dish plastic. Making the move to dish was a challenge because it may not be harder to hack than DTV but there are a few more steps involved, and some additional hardware with the jtag and iso programmer.
As for the P4 , I don't have the option to sub to Dave and wait for a hack so I had to move to dish. I'm going to wait for a possible P4 hack and until I'm able to unloop the P4 with a UL4S type script I think the P4 could be a money pit if you have to keep sending the card back after every ECM. If I viable p4 platform becomes available down the road I would certainly buy a new loader provided there was a way to unloop the card, because I'm currently sitting on 5 no zkt receivers that are basically doorstops and I would like to get them working again, plus I miss those 5th gen. RCA receivers, I think they are light years ahead of the dish ones. If your thinking of moving to dish then mili has all the info you need at bellexpress.vu , just read, read, read before you jump in with both feet. I'd like to thank Mili personally for all his hard work and providing a great site with all the info you'll need to keep testing.

Here is what I think is up with Charlie, why not let all the dtvr's switch then let them settle down a bit then hit them with a code that frys the Rec, cheap easy fix a bit discouraging. Then step up a bit after the 2 million hackers switch lower the monthly price and step up the hits until they figure out how to completely lock it up like D has done They steal 2 millions folks or a bit less and keep them since at that point it would cost more to get DTV set back up.

And Has anyone checked into VOOM Satelite services For HD
Seems all you would need if thier system was vulnerable to get a filter for the HD to normal TV
