Jkeys question.....

I accuired a 3100 receiver from a friend that moved and I went to read the receiver and all I got for the box keys was "FF FF FF ......" I have not come accross this before can some one point me in the right direction thanx.

Sounds like your jtag is not communicating with the receiver.
Keep playing with it or try using the program Wall to get it to read.

By any chance was this receiver junkyard fixed or erased at any time?

He erased SA3. He says that is all he erased but I am not totaly sure and he moved and I can not get in touch with him.

Try hooking it up to the stream to see if it will download the software.
