I'm an electronics technician and i'm relatively new to the field. I know this guy who owns a hotel property and he was asking me about setting up a wirless network for him so that he can access the internet from anywhere on campus using his laptop.would this be a difficult task? or would i just need to setup the antenna first to receive and transmit the broadband signal and then setup individual boxes around campus to receive the signal from the antenna?all ideas are welcomed.thanks for all replies

pretty sure you have the right idea, wireless networking has been made very simple thes days by linksys. Heck i even think they have a box that can give you the ability to set up your own WI-FI network. but you have the right mind set. Setup the access point, and what you can do is set up bridges to that access point to give you the range throughout the whole building.
