Is it possible to test a card if i do not have a jtag or the boxkeys to my receiver. I will be getting one very shortly but want to know if i can test while im waiting for my jtag to arrive? If so when i am asked for a boxkey do i just leave it blank? Thanks to everyone on here for being so helpful to us former dtv testers.

a model 2700 receiver. The card or the IRD has not been subscribed to that i know of. If so i know there is no balance on them.
if the card is married to the ird just choose not to edit any ird info in your tier creater and it will still be married. just write tiers and blocker. start with no ppv so you don't get whacked before you even get started.
read the card in nagra 2 or above,go to data editor and enter the ird number in hex and the box keys than write to card. before you know it you'll be an old dish network fart!!!!

so if my receiver isnt married and i don't have my boxkeys am i out of luck until i get a jtag. i just need some temporary testing until my jtag gets here.
if you got the card with the receiver more than likely it's married. read it in nagra and go to data editor and convert the ird number to decimal and if it's the same as the one on the back of the ird or on the info screen you should be ok. if not you're out of luck.
