Are there different GlobeCast recievers? if so will MC work on some and not others?

A friend of mine has a GlobeCast that he subscribes too, and I want to see if the MC will work on his reciever (dont know the model yet).

You will have to cut the front face a little in order to fit the MC.

I actually took the front face off.
But have u tried it now and is it working?
