"autolooper"????? WFT is that, besides an ECM?

Can I suggest you read the newbie guides?

Read the newbie guides, and you'll know what to buy to get the receiver and card working. I, too, read until my eyes glazed over.

The 7200 is a nice receiver, but you need to read a lot to get it to be open. This is not as easy as loading a DTV HU card.

Just keep reading and trying.

It's gunna be hard.

One thing that will hang you up on the 7200 is aqiuring signal..You have to go in and point the dish in dish pointing.110 first the 119.Keep changing auto-responders till you get the best signal. Then setup the switch.Don't try to do it from the dish 500 pointing area.

Every time the card changes I have to repoint the dish.I loose power and have to repoint the dish.Always waiting for it to down load.It may depend on where your located and how good the signal is in your area.

i had my 7100 working, but only had movie channels pron and the 160 pack, si i decided to try and add more. now i get the signal thing and nothing else, ah well i guess ill set it back how it was. is dish on demand different then ppv?

also, cauld a bad tier setup cause this, or is it because i might have put something wrong in the editor, like boxkeys or something?

i had this 7100 for a while, but the dish that came with it cant receive both, so im just getting 119 for now and i still get listing.

if i goto the menu to "find the dish" and click over to 110 it says wrong signal dish 119 all the time.

ahh well, im going to bed, i guess ill mess with it tomarrow. give suggestions if any otherwise im going to just go back to the 160 pack and movie channels.

I would suggest you acquire a "Hat" Patel based JTag for your 7200, dump all your goodies, verify your BK's are correct as you know them already, and store the dump just in case.

The 7200's are awesome units for testing, and so far nothing has ever happened to them ECM wise, BUT, you can never be too sure. I'd do a dump of my info, write it to CD with my card images as you have them now, store it just in case.
If problems do occur, you can always refer back to what you got, burned, and uneditable on the CD, so there's no issues of woops did I change this or that.

They say you can never be too cautious, and thats my suggestion to you honestly.

Enjoy your testing.
