I programmed my 3900 using tiers generated in RTM 118d and I did use the PPV tier generator even though it reco'd not too in the Howto. Well I applied that, used the mili private blocker and got the serious error 153 after watching TV for about 30mins....I'm trying to erase the flash and reapply the TSOP but the receiver won't stay powered up...oh using jkeys 2.9.9....I got to the screen where it tells u to groung pin 1 or to power off power on and then hit the OK which is what I'm doing and the error I'm getting is error reading from DCU control register...I've tried this repeatedly closing and opening Jkeys checking Jtag connections...etc...Oh and the power will stay on for about 4 seconds and then shut down each time. The flash that is displayed in Jkeys for the reciever 3900 is Flash 1(29lv160) it is the only option except for USER SPECIFIED. I know I read that SA flash is reco'd for erasing this....is this something u use outside of jkeys???? Any help is much appreciated...Oh and BTW, I WILL apply the TSOP lock after I get this straightened out and I WILL look for a more reliable ppv tier solution! Thanks! :cool:
