OK I currently have Dishpro system with 2 receivers. One them I am testing with.

I want to use the old DTV dish on my roof to get 61.5. I bought an SW21 switch to be able to add that signal.

I hooked the switch up to the 2 outlets at my wall near the receiver. One is the Dishpro input and the other is the DTV dish and LNB.

Problem is the receiver can't see the sw21 switch. I do the switch test and it still just shows the original Dishpro input 1 and 2 off the built in switch in the LNB for 110 and 119.

I am thinking the xternal sw21 needs to be physically near the 2 dishes to equalize impedance so the receiver can discriminate? Currently the SW21 haas about 50ft of cable run from each LNB to its inputs.

Yeah you're right. I just read the damn manual. I need a DP21 not the SW21. Great. anyone wanna buy it offa me? Or better yet trade me a DP21 for it.
