Flash Timeout (DQ5 set) ERROR

Hi

First I want to say as a newbie to DISH (not testing) this site ROCKS for info.

But anyway here's my problem. I have a 301-13 single tsop I did the VID MOD works great I have a UNIVERSAL JTAG I got the bot keys all the info off the box the jtag seems to work fine. I go threw all the step to reflash the memory I'm using jkeys 301-013b i changed the address to 7FFFFFAC hit read came back 5D00 changed that to 0000 clicked on program and hit just sat there then a min later this error came up Flash Timeout (DQ5 set) ERROR I tried grounding pin 1 all that did was keep my power lite off.

CAN SOME HELP

Well I got NO replies, But guess what I figured it out now I'm up and running I put camless rom11 on magic card booted the system and I HAVE PORN

if you need the fix I'll be glad to share

aldoYou need to solder a jumper between pad 1 0f the jtag port and the groung pad right next to it .

i tried both ways. i went underneath and grounded pad 1 to the ground next to it. no

better off. i already had r79 grounded for the jtag i was using. still getting flash timeout

(dq5-set )error. still open for suggestions, thanks.

Grounding pad 1 and R79 does exactly the same thing, puts the CPU in link mode so it won't boot to the flash.

Try starting jkeys, then plug the receive rin and hit detect within 2 seconds of plugging the receiver in.
