Pin 1 needs to be ungrounded to turn it on normal, That is just grounded to enter programming mod for the vid mod, Then ungrounded again.

A total backup is only for an emergency, an ECM can usually be cleared by erasing one sector of the 310-013, SA49, and the vid mod isn't even needed for that.

If you get error reading from memory while trying to back up the tsop, inplug IRD, replug and wait till the led goes off, no card inserted either, and try again.
If that don't work, then unplug and replug and start jkeys quickly after plugging in. Some times these 301'sm can be finicky.
