5800 tsop wont erase

greetings i have a 5800 and its really messed up i put the jumper in at the OJ1 and i used a simple jtag i am able to read it and downloaded the tsop but it wont let me erase it. i am trying to erase flash 2 it says done but when i go to upload the new one it says the flash is still there. What am i doing wrong?

Although a buffered jtag is much better, a simple jtag does work. Keep trying. You'll get it eventually...just not on the first attempt!

ok i have tried countless times but cannot get it to eraseis there specs for a buffered jtag around that i can build?
