I'm using Yvousemu and am trying to remap my locals to their normal location.

have modified the ini with my zip and changed the blackout with my location byte
at the end.

went into the bin file with NagraEdit and changed the zip and last blackout byte.

Locals stay in the 8000s and not 2,6,8 etc.

any help would be apprecated thank you.

Use "Xcel" to add your local tiers to dish.bin

1. start Xcel
2. open dish.bin
3. click "channel tiers"
4. select your local. (may be a few tiers for your local)
5. save bin

If You Don't Have A Receiver Capable Of Re-Mapping The Locals, It Won't Work.

problem solved.

1 change blackout string in yvuosemu.ini
last byte with locals to be remapped.

2 get receiver to update spot beams.

make sure you change the last blackout byte in yvuosemu.ini and in the bin file you are using to your local byte.

in nagraedit change the last 7F in the blackout string to your locals byte.

Save the edited bin and restart everything.

Tier: min=058C, max=05A0, and 1F instead of last 7F in blackout string.
