All x's in check switch

What up with this? I've got a DISH 500 w/built in switch and a 3700 IRD.I get all x's and "switch not detected". LNB was checked before I got it.Guy said it was good.Also,no signal at all. I tried a DTV lnb and got a weak signal.

Should work if U have a DP301 Reciever and above, if not, Sw-21's!

Hey Petedog :)

See if that LNB is DP series, they only work on newer receivers and the 3700 cannot control it. You would need a Legecy or reg 500 LNB multiswitch for that. Two reg dish 300 lnbs with a sw21 will fit on the dish arm also and work.
