A friend of mine moved and did not take his 3100 model so I am trinig to get it working again. I use jkeys on the machine and this is what I get

IRD# R -0 0000 00001-96

Box Keys FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

Build config yyyy bootstrap yyyy

Model ID yyy Software yyyy

Like I said this is a friends receiver so I do not have the box keys .bin anything. I was gonna use Wall2 but do not think I have enough information. Thanx for your time

yeah your friend has erased the tsop. Must have clicked on full erase.Do you have the smart card for that reciever? You may be able to retrieve the info from card if its unlockable.I'm pretty sure the box keys have to match the ird #.
I have a back up of one of my 3100 and its not subbed so I really don't mind sharing it with my box keys and ird#. Open the box and look on the mother board and check the sticker that says build configuration.Post back and I'll see if its compatable.

It would only enter slow program which would have taken 5 hours per program...... am I over looking something. I do not think I will hold the cables there for 5 hours....

there are several versions of 301 jkeys floating, some work for specific 301's and some for others, just down load different one till you find one that works for you.

I tried to program it in slow mode and it said estimate time remaining 5 hours

dont for get after you get all FFFFFFs, you MUST scroll down to the different IRD types, and select 3100/301(single flash). All the correct data should pop up instantly.
