I am also having the same problem....I erassed the wrong flash on my 301-010.
now I am trying to revive it. no power.
I have all TSOP and EEPROM files ready to be put in..(used flash edit)
connect Jtag and it wont read the IRD# or anything else...fit refresh and it gives me an unknown ##
very peculiar...I erase it and manualy enter the right info and it reverts itself back to FFFFFFFFFF
I have been working on this for quite a few days
I'm stumped.

won't read in Jkeys or Wall...port settings on puter are correct batteries are new and connected directly to com port...no cable ?????

Are you guys following the jtagging procedure correctly?

Connect jtag
Apply power to IRD
Open Jkeys (or Wall)

If it doesn't detect, you need to repeat the steps from the beginning.

Just a thought.
