Hi,
I have been a subscriber to bell and I have a 2700 receiver. I have an 18" single lnb that I have been using to receive the signal. I have a good handle of what I need to do next but this information has eluded me in my research.
My question is this. Do I need a dual lnb to test dishnet (the one with the ability to pick up two sats)? Some have said yes, that I need to point at 110 and 119 to get this working. Others have said no, that the single lnb will work if I point it at the right bird.
I have pointed the dish at both satellites and have recieved a strong signal ( 85-95). I have all the other information I believe I need to make my next purchases, ie magic card and/or iso programmer and buffered jtag, but this is the question I cannot seem to find the answer for.
I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter that someone good provide and please excuse my ignorance. :)
Thanks in advance,,
