Loader question (Yes I read the sticky)

I have one question.. I am converting from D*V and have a KAC Mikobu loader/unlooper which I know in it's present form cannot be used for ISO loading, however it has a jumper on the top that changes it to "Pheonix" mode which I believe was for the H cards, which I believe is also what's needed for BEV/Charlie is it not? Just a little confused on this issue, can someone clear it up?

If I can use it, do I need to reflash the loader at all or will the old atmel code work?

It will at least work with the mightyloader software I hope? Otherwise I guess it can resume it's present job of being a paperweight ;)
