help with receiver

I am new at this and I just got a 3900 got the it set up with the jtag and line up the dish to sat 119 , I have 85 percent for singal then I come out and the the tv says error 2 singal lost and the sat is on 110. does anybody know what might be wrong. on switch just straight from the dish to the recevier.

Do you have a dish 500 setup? IRD thinks so, If it is a reg dish then you are not able to get 110.
Post back your dish type you are using and if it is a dp series or not.

I have a similar problem. I am using a dishpro with a 3900 receiver. no 110 for some reason although it is coming in fine with my 501. interesting in that i can get locals with the card in the receiver but cannot back up tsop or get valid swich check. :heads_or_
