Split up cost of Charlie sub ?

I had a friend that did this and it worked out fine for awhile with 4 IRDs. He had 2 IRDs and his sister had 2 IRDs in seperate locations. Charlie started getting suspicious when they wanted a fifth IRD added to their account. Charlie than requested that she plug the phone line into all the IRDs so they can make sure it's in one location.

I guess it'll work if you don't get too greedy or like you said, no land line just cell phone.

charlie giving you grief over a fifth receiver is just the CSR being an ass cause he/she can. you can have up to eight receivers on an account with no phones plugged in , all ya gotta do is give them hell about privacy issues and threaten to disconnect all of your receivers and they will give ya what you want, just tell em four tvs at your house, and four at your vacation house......no big deal
