What version of xcel are you using? I use ver. 3.6 & had the same problem when I first DLed it. I deleted it & reinstalled & is OK now. If that doesn't work, I can send you the .dat file needed.
Also, have ver. 3.0, 3.0d & 3.5 if you're using one of those.:D
