Hey guys i want to get into dish emu. Whats your advise for the kind of emu hardware i should get and the software to run it. And where can i find the stuff.
Im going to run the stuff on a p400 tower. So lay it out for me. Thanks

You will need an emu board with an atmel chip and a rs232 interface chip (max232/233) and an dish ird with boxkeys extracted and preferably a a jtag interface to read the tsop and store it for when he rewrites your tsop and your 400 tower.

With emu, you don't need the card at all. Your computer and the emulation program is the card.

Sorry I missed the post. Yup, all you need is Boxkey and IRD. Of course Computer, cable, max/mel is part of emu hardware. I like emu better because I don't have to worry about blocker. Good luck.
