110 and 119 sat help

Can anyone give be a reason why I can lock on to 110 sat at 100% but not 119, The 119 shows up on the system screen as 100% but it wont go green or change tone like the 110 does. I have turned and point sat in different direction but all I was able to do is lose 110, I turned back and 110 lock on but still no 119. I have a sw21 switch but I have also tried hooking up just to 119 with no switch. Should 119 be right next to 110. I have a dual lnb.

I had the same problem. Hook the 119 lnb to side 1 of the switch and 110 to side 2. Lock on to Sat 119 first. If your skew is adjusted right you should be hitting 110 also.

Yes its a 18" with one dual lnb,

Then You Won't Get Both Of The Satellites, 110 & 119 At The Same Time. You Will Need To Put Up Another Dish And Use An SW21 Switch To Combine The Two Satellites Or Get A Dish500 Legacy. Check Out WWW.18inch.com For Wiring Diagrams. There Is A Way To Tie Wrap/Glue/Tape Another LNB To The Current LNB To Get Both Satellites On An 18" Dish. Don't Have The Info Handy Though.

I'm having the same problem. The 119 is just next to the 110, just a bit to the right. You're probably hitting it. Try this. Set your satellite selection (on the left side of the screen) to the 110 satellite like you did. When you get enough signal on the "wrong satellite" (the 119), switch your satellite selection (on the left side of the screen) to the 119. Then wait a second or two and the bar should go green and give you a proper reading. The tone should change to. That's what I did tonight and it worked. For some reason it doesn't see the 119 unless you have it set to the 110 first.
