Installing a Lock..

Anyone ever send their reciever to the techs at maestra.tv to get anything installed on it, such as a lock or vid mod? I want to put a lock on my IRD but I don't have the slightest clue even with all the labelled pics showing where to solder, I have no skills doing it and don't want to risk damaging my reciever.

I do all my own IRD mods, but I can tell you that a friend of mine (gregone) once won a 508 fully loaded (d/lock, internal buffered jtag, etc) from their contests and give-aways. Very clean and professionally done, I might add! They are pricey though.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sure they are but I don't want to risk damaging my IRD.
