View Full Version : 2700 power trouble
need some help, friends 2700 was dropped on it's head could not get nothing to work after straightin out alot of things and glueing front back on it works great with orig. cam and atmega, no locks......it's when I put the case back together it runs maybe 30min. then powers off can,t do anything with remote or front switch,unplug, plug back in 30min at best then powers off, org.cam or atmega.
could really use some help

Need more info. Firmware version on the ird, Atmega progam, Clock speed of Atmega, Etc... Post details.

If you're saying it runs fine without the case, then leave the case off. Better than no TV!
Almost sounds like the issue is related to heat buildup or some component that was knocked out of whack and touches the case whenever the case is closed. Check to see if any of the voltage regulators or electrolytic capacitors are twisted or bent over. Straighten them out... of course do this without the power plugged it! One last possibility is a crack in the motherboard.
