I'm going to program a rom3/3700. By putting a blocker (checksum) on it, will that keep my location ID(tsop?) from getting hit? I did this with a rom3/4000 and the location ID got hit within minutes. Did I do some thing wrong or do I need to do something else to avoid this? Also, are boxkeys associated with the card or the receiver? If with the card, does that mean I can use a rom3 with a different receiver? Thanks for any help you can give. New and trying to learn without making too many mistakes.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure someone out there knows the answer. Be a pal, point me in the right direction. would like to be able to see the fight tonight without messing up another card/receiver.
Thanks

A good blocker will help hide you but without a good cam id your toast. Box keys are necessary and are found on the reciever using a jtag. Try reading: http://www.bellexpress.vu/ for your rom3 programming questions. Good luck.
