I have my emu running with Yvous 1.4 finally.
My problem was with the IRD number in the ini file.
I converted it wrong.
My problem is I only get info and music channels.
I know from reading other posts I need to ad tiers,I have tryed several times but none work.
I am creating the tier patch file with YATM ,opening NagraEdit and opening Dish.bin and attempting to patch the .ne file I created.
I get errors regarding the patch file.
Is there a readme or help file somewhere for doing this?
THANKS

make sure your receiver has the latest updates from the stream.

I think you adding tiers incorrectly. Check the post creating tier for ROM 3, I & II. For starter, why not use the tiers made by other which confirmed works. The tiers in those two post works great, use them, then made your own when you know everything works.

Are you using yvous just as it unzips?
I only chamged IRD and BoxKeys in the .ini file and tryed that ,still only info and music.
I am using a laptop p233 maybe a different pc?
Will boot to dos and try.
Rec says no updates availiable.
Emu shows processing emm packates.
Ready to throw it out the window.

I change camID, box key, current keys, zip code, timezone for both the ini file and the DN380 file (probably redundance but I don't have lock on my IRD so I take no chance getting ECM). For the rom file, I use the DN380 from Cemu but I bet they are the same, what matter is I put the latest tiers, and PPV string on it.

It should run in dos, WINME, WIN2k/XP. If you're in DOS, make sure you're in the directory that the executable is located. What's the error anyway?

I quess I need to start at the begining and check everything.
I switched computers from my old laptop 233mhz to a 500mhz tower and now I get a switch Error.
I had problems getting a signal now when I run check switch I get both odd and even on 110 but only even on 119.
I will instal a new sw21 next and see what I get.
On yvous all I did was edit the .ini file with my IRD # and Box Keys.
I found another zip file that contains a new .INI and BIN file that has the tiers already.
once I get running I will learn to add tiers myself.
I just need to eliminate each thing first.
Maybe with the bad switch you can,t get anything at all,
I tryed just getting 110 sat by itself but no luck.
Once I get going I am going to write a HOW TO with all the problems I had so it will help others.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

After more and more reading I have my problem solved.
Problem was the receiver needed updated.
Who would ever think that problem that I thought was channel tiers and then switch problems was actualy update problem.
Once I hooked j-tag back up and deleted SA30 3 times (Model3800)
it took the updates to 3900 and all worked perfect.
I should of caught this when receiver showed it was a 3800 and not 3900.
Should I save the TSOP now with updates in case you know who does you know what??
I saved the original but not new.
THANKS for all who helped, maybe I can help someone now.
Its hard to track down problems becuase info is so scattered, itys there just have to look.l
