i have a rom 10 that i got from a reciever that was an exsub from my brother inlaw. it hasn't been in the stream for around a year. so it should have been at rev a21. the card also had never been screwed with at all. i tried to unlock with penga's script. it said that the card wouldn't reset and stopped. i then put the card into nagra edit, and it told me that the atr is invalid, spit out all zeros. for shits and giggles, i put the card into my t911 loaded with mighty loader, and the card spits out an atr and mighty tells me that it is a rom 10 at something like rev 88 or something like that. i then ,(again for shits and giggles), put the card into another t911 loaded with sorry nagra, and it tells me that it is a valid rom 10 and does the whole unlock thing that it does. when i try o open the card and clean with nagra, it again tells me that atr is invalid. can someone maybe try to help me out and possibly shed a little light on my dark subject? please? thank you.

i get this as an atr in mighty loader. stwister will get all info from the card as well. i put the card back into the mighty loader and it will load a bin to the card. so i loaded a good working copy of a rom 10 bin with all my info on it into the card with mighty. i put the card into my reciever, and viola, i had working tv. system info says that the card is what it should be. so i pulled the card back out and tried to read it with nagra edit, and still get no atr. i put another card into the iso to test it, and nagra edit works fine. i put the other card back in and still get invalid atr. all 0's. WTF? anyone have any possible insight into this one? i am baffled bothered and bewildered!!!!! would appreciate any possible info. thanks loads. jimmyhat

What ISO programmer? What v of NE? Some people tell me they can get cards to read in NE v3.0 but not in 4.0/4.1 (rom 10's specifically). Try some different versions out.. Question: Doesn't mightyloader etc mark your card?

i finally got it to post the proper atr and nagra opened it. i guess when dish did the dsub, they must have sent soething that looped it, but it wasn't totally looped. very strange. all i know is that it works now and it didn't then. very odd indeed.
no, the mighty loader doesn't mark the card. at least it didn't mark this one. nor any other that i have used it on.
