Rom3/rom10 with different receiver???

What do I have to do to program a Rom3 or Rom 10 to a receiver that it didn't come with? Are there directions somewhere or can somebody tell me how to go about it?

You need to edit in your ird# and box keys for the reciever you'll be using it on in nagra edit.

1) You need JTAG to get Boxkey and IRD# from the receiver
2) Read the ROM with Nagra Edit or Excel You'll see that it has a section which shows IRD# & boxkey currently on the card
3) Edit those two fields.

Okay, do you know what box keys and reciever ird# are?

Well the reciever # will be found on your system information screen starting with R00 XXXX XXXX-XX.

The box keys will have to retrieved with a jtag
