Whats the difference 301.010 vs 4700?

I have both receivers.. The 4700 has a UHF remote which is nice, and the dolby digital output.. I also have a 301.010.. One of them I am going to give to a relative; I just need help deciding which one is better? Or did I answer my own question? Not sure if the 301.010 uses a better codec or something since it's newer..?

Heh I guess everyone is as stumped as I am.. Guess I will keep the 4700/4900 since it has the dolby digital output.

wouldnt you still get dolby digital with right left video ..i used to get it with my hughes and suround system
