Hi testers,

Do I need a switch to see both 110 & 119 using this LNB? See Attachement...

Thanks...

You still can't tell if it's a legacy or a Pro lnb though. Check out receivers and dishes section at bellexpress.vu

If you open the thumbnail JT you can see it is a dish-pro. Fortec the only way you might want a switch is if you want to use more than 2 recievers with that unit. Then you would need a sw34 switch. It is the only switch designed to be used with dish-pro lnb's I believe.

I ran across and new Dish Pro, what receivers will this deal work with? I was told it wouldn't work with a DP-301, or 3700, 4700, etc

Now in your opinion is there any advantage to it? I am on a legacy now, just the built in switch is the only advantage??

I am giving up for tonight on this bastard Rom3 card, it is NOT marked, it's open, you can read and write fine, I have tried every trick I know and it won't work, I even cloned my working ROM 3 to it and it won't work,

If I program it, (using exactly what I am watching on the other) like I normally do and if I enter ZEROS in the keys, it flashes the "wait or channel up or down" message forever, if I enter the keys manually the flash screen goes away and I have black, I do get previews, and the tiers are there in the guide, it just doesn't work. I entered ZEROS in the keys of my Rom 3 and a Rom 10 I have and they flash the screen 2-3 times and TV comes in,

Have you ever heard of this problem??

Thanks again

Jimy

Legacy is probably better cause you can use old IRD's and new IRD's with DP LNB you can only use DP IRD's.

Are u using that cloned rom3 on the same IRD or on a different IRD.

Ok, I looked closer. It is definetly a dish pro lnb. The DP on the sticker is the give away. I don't mind being corrected or being poked a little fun at when I'm being a bonehead. Thanks for sticking up for me 4x4. I got your back too!
