Can't read jtag

Damn, I've tried everything, 4 receivers, new batteries, a soldered ground wire, jtag connected directly to computer, I cannot get anything from my jkeys program.
I keep getting "Unknown device"
I have the jkeys configured correct, at least it appears so, I have it in parellel mode using the printer port, I tried a com port but the same thing happens. I am plugging the jtag on pins 2-6 on my 2700 and 3800 receivers. No go.
Any other suggestions?

have you made sure that you changed in your bios - do not interrupt. I had similar problem, finally changed my bios and bam! Jtag read. Do a search - under bios and read some fine threads that will actually get more specific on how or what to change in the bios.
