i never had this problem with my other reciever when i try flash programming i get error programming flas at offset 0x7ff8000 what did i do wrong

What's up. I had a similar problem after an ecm. I really don't think I was doing anything wrong just took several several tries to get it to pop just right. Here's what I did with that problem. Using jkeys 2.09

1. Connect ird to jtag.
2. Power on receiver. (you might not be able to power on the receiver if you've been messing with the tsop but that's cool, just make sure it's plugged in.)
3. Start jkeys 2.09. Most likely since you've gotten an error message your model number will be "unknown". Click the drop down and select your ird model.
4. Click "DETECT" button. Will probably come back a bunch of strange characters that's cool.
5. Now click "FLASH PROGRAMMING" on the right. You will get a box basically telling you to unplug the receiver and plug it back in and click "OK" within three seconds. Regardless of the power light coming on click "OK" anyway right after you plug it in.
6. Click "PROGRAM" and write. Should work.

The only thing I can think of that got this to work after that error message was selecting my ird model before clicking detect, instead of leaving it "unknown". Hope this helps a little. Good Luck.
