1) By open does that mean its a virgin card (card that hasnt been activated of messed with at all)?

2) If so does a married card mean that its closed and that it cant be unmarried?

3) Does a card get married to a receiver as soon as you put it on the receiver while turned on or when you activate with dish net subscription??

1 Open meens that a card can be programed. Closed meens that the card is stream locked. Look at the rev of the card to see if it can be unlocked useing one of the unlocking files. Desn't have to be a virgin card. 2 All dish cards are married to the receiver. This is done by writeing the boxkeys and ird number to the card. This can be changed, so you can use a card in other receivers. Does'nt have any thing to do with it being closed. 3 When you program the card, you put the boxkeys and ird number of the receiver you are useing on the card. You can change this when ever you want to.
