Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone have seen those cards,,,, They say Telewest Communications on the back and on the front, where the chip is, it has same chip as dishnet cards and it says NagraVision on it. Those cards have the code 374-01 on the bottom left and they start with 07.
Anyway have seen them or worked with them before ?
I just got offered today to buy some, so am testing them, and will let you know how it goes,,,,
so far i could read them and they are setting at Rev A3B, i put and image of a rev A21 and they seem to read and write just like dish/bev rom10 cards.
How much do you think i should pay for them?

So share the love you guys, where can we buy these? :)
I googled for the company, and sure I found their info, but nothing about purchasing or a source for the actual card.

the most obvious question is did you put all your info on the card correctly
did niagra even read your card
Reading the card was not a problem, like a typical A16. Wrote my typical A16 code to them, but still having issues.
Are you cloning a ROM10 Image to the card. I think those cards are cleaned of an image and you will need to clone one to them and then write the image with the Teirs, blocker etc to the card.
chep
PS please PM me on the availablity of these ROMs. :)

Appears to be a Nagravision rom 10 used for " Sky Digital" service from what I read on the topic.

Hey guys, what's the final word on these kind of cards? Does it really work as a ROM 10 and where to buy them?
Cheers!

I'm not an expert but I've lived in Europe and can say that every provider using nagra has been hacked. It would seem that the same cards they use would work to open charlie, but someone with more technical know-how might wish to comment. The most powerful cards now in use in europe are called titanium cards, which are sold for about 28 GBP or 40 euros at many european sat shops, e.g. www.goldwafers.com
How much is that in US $$ ?
Thanks

I just got one of these going for a friend of mine. Just loaded a Dishnet rom10 image on it and then applied blocker and tiers!
Works just like a Dishnet or Bev rom10 card.
If you can get one for cheap, go for it !!!!!

The dollar used to be worth more than a euro, but now you need almost $1.25 to buy a euro. So a titanium would be $50. I'm not sure if a titanium is even necessary, however, as most of the european nagra providers can be opened with funcards and MII cards that cost less than $10. And atmega cards are also cheap, ut I don't know whether these are the same as the atmega cards used here. Is there anyone on this forum with experience with both Charlie and European providers who can tell us?

rom10 is a rom10 no matter where its from there the same
only the eeprom is different for each providor so writing over this ,the card
becomes a genuine dish or bev card
as i am in the uk i did offer to buy these and send them on to members on
the satech forum a few weeks ago and got banned for doing so
theres a few sites here actually flogging them for $50 so i guess thats
as good as getting them unlocked

I was wondering about those fun cards, they say open platform and the ones I have seen have a womans head on them, they state they are Dish compliant and I was wondering if they will work as a rom 3 or 10??

Would like to see a picture of this card. I bought some phone cards in Cancun and might give it a try what the heck.

does anyone know if the fun cards can be programmed as a rom 10.

Europe is somewhat different from here in that there are over 40 providers and about 7 different encryption systems. The boys over there are able to open all 7 encryptions and almost all providers automatically (except Sky) with just one card (imagine if we could open dave, charlie, bev, and all Latin American providers with one card).
Anyway, several European providers use nagra and I know that all euro nagra providers except Polsat (Poland) and Premiere (Germany) can be opened with funcard, silvercard (pic), MII, atmega, and others, and that the titanium card opens everything except Premiere. I don't know the technical details, but titanium works on Polsat and fun does not because fun is "too slow" to work. I don't know why Premiere is unhacked and I don't know whether the version of nagra used by charlie and bev is different from the euro version. And I don't know which, if any, of the euro cards work or could be modified to open charlie or bev.
Just a guess, but it seems to me if it were possible to open charlie with a $5 funcard, by now someone would have done it and would be selling them.

Telewest sounds interesting, It's a rom 10 and is supposed to clean and work fine
Funcards are a guy with long hair, Not a chick. I'll attach a pic.
The software for those is called "Funprom" I have never been able to get one to work more than 10 minutes on dishnet. Biatch is the only conversion, Like H cards conveted to dishnet rom 3's, But it just is old news and no longer works as of about a year and a half ago.

No luck. I have 3 of these. All 3 had to be unlocked with mrom and can be written to and erased with no problems. However, when using a rom10 image they do not work. This same image works fine on Dish rom 10's but not on these cards. They must have an issue with the blocker I'm using. What allows these to work?

Hi Guys:
I really don't want to show off, but I'm really surprised that a lot of people did not know about these cards. I have been using them for a long time I think for close to a year. The ones I had were ROM10's. I also got NTL cards from the UK on ebay. They were ROM10 and ROM11 cards and they all worked just fine. They did also get marked like the other ones. Several Cable companies in the UK uses Nagra 1 cards for their access. I still have some ROM 11 NTL cards PM for anyone intrested.
