"Please insert smart card " error

I programmed the Atmega card using nnw21d. When I inserted the card in the ird, I'm stuck at the "Please insert your smart card" error. I noticed that my smart card # is all zeros in the system info. Can anyone please point me to the right direction to fix this problem. Thanks.

Yes I did. Is it possible that the cam id is not good?


No it should not matter.

You have double checked your IRD info and BOXKEYS right.

Another thing might be the connections to the receiver (ie metal pads on the Atmega) not making good connection.

I have also had bad Atmega boards. (Does not take too much to bridge a connection on the Atmega 128 chip).

Try it in another receiver to confirm.
