Built-in Laptop Smart Card Reader

The newer Dell Laptops have built in smart card readers. Is there any software that exists that would allow me to read/write to smart cards from this slot?

Can not do dish cards...............sorry

Trying to find some info on this also. If you can use the new american express blue cards in them there must be away to get these to read dish cards. If anyone is good at config port setting please post if you can confg the pcmcia reader to a com port.

The problem is the software. All "testing" software is written for "dumb" iso7816 programmers NOT the pc/sc compatible programmers.........
